Collection Primed and Ready Primer - £3.99 Boots
Collection is a brand I've used since I was a teenager. They have great products at a bargain price and they cover every make up trend you can think of. When looking for something new and fun to play with I always stop by the Collection stand in Boots to browse what they have on offer.
I ran out of my usual primer last week and I saw this one at the bargain price of £3.99 so I decided to give it a whirl. If I'm honest I didn't have overly high expectations because of the low price which meant I wouldn't be left disappointed if I didn't like it.
I have combination skin and as the day goes by I find my make up slipping off my t-zone. I need a good primer to keep my make up on my face during a long day at work. I've only tried 2 primers that actually do this and they're slightly more high end.
This slides easily onto the skin and helps my make up go that little bit further. I was impressed with the initial application and after applying the rest of my make up I felt positive but the end of the day the blemish scars on my chin were very clearly visible and my nose had barely any make up left on it at all. While parts of my face still looked good the main parts were I need coverage didn't really have much make up left.
I'm still using this product because it's okay and it does have it's positives but I won't be repurchasing it. I think I'll be better off spending a little more money on a product I know I can bank on.
Have you tried this?

I've never tried this (& now I won't be!) but I'm on the hunt for a good primer.
