Hi everybody! After a short Christmas Hiatus I'm back and blogging as usual! Hello to any new readers, I'm made up to see people have still been reading while I've been away.
Moving swiftly on...I've been a fan of French pharmacy brands for a little while and after sending out an SOS tweet about my terrible skin a month or so ago I received a reply telling me to check out La Roche-Posay. I did some investigating on the internet and found some products that I thought would be good for me yet before I ordered them the lovely people over at Escentuals.com offered me the chance to try out Effaclar Duo so obviously I jumped at the chance!
La Roche-Posay describe this product as 'a corrective and unclogging moisturiser' they also claim that 'Even the most severe imperfections disappear'. These claims are completely truthful. This product is amazing. I would go as far to say that Effaclar Duo has completely transformed my skin most definately for the better. My skin is 99.9% (it's a fantastic product but it's not a miracle!) blemish free. The odd blemish appears now and then but with regular use of this product I have seen them vanish overnight.
When I first started using Proactiv solution I thought I had great results but they were nothing on the results I've seen from using this. I apply this each morning and evening under my moisturiser (you could use this on it's own as a moisturiser in it's own right but my skin needs that extra shot of hydration) and now my complexion is clearer, smoother and a little more peachy. I've also been using it in conjunction with some other La Roche-Posay products (review to follow) and I do think that has made it work even harder. I've even noticed that the old blemish scars on my chin seem to have lessened a fair bit and I basically just feel a lot more confident about my skin. This product has regulated the oiliness I used to experience frequently and as result of this my make up is sitting better on top of my skin and it seems to be lasting for far longer than it used too.
I would 100% recommend this product to anyone suffering with blemishes or even blocked/oversized pores because it is a fantastic product and I think for the low price you get a lot for your money.
