New Look
All Items www.newlook.com

As always, this week I've been surfing the web seeking out all the latest offerings from my favourite retailers. Recently New Look has been impressing me the most with their low cost yet fashion friendly pieces. These are the things I've been eyeing up the most...

1. A checked shirt has always been a staple in my wardrobe (I am a closeted emo don't you know? I'm actually rocking out to Fall Out Boy as I write...) but I haven't seen one I really liked for a long time. When I spotted this it reminded me of the Zara shirt with the studded pockets that was doing the rounds. I missed the boat on that but for £19.99 I can't say no to this.

2. Statement jewellery is one of my favourite things to shop for. I've been looking for something really bold to wear with my birthday dress (I posted about that here) and as soon as I laid my eyes on this beauty I knew it would be perfect. At £25 it's a little more than I'd usually pay but if you can't treat yourself on your birthday when can you?

3. I had the softest, most perfect denim shirt from Topshop but unfortunately after a glass of rose ended up down it (sob!) at a festival it was never the same again...but this one would definately fill the void that left behind. I really love denim shirts with black jeans. Yes, you can do the double denim trend without looking like a trucker. Add a statement necklace (see they make everything better!), a nice jacket, some funky shoes and you've got yourself one very snazzy outfit.

4. This is another necklace I know but it's so pretty and only £12....need I say more?

5. Oversized knits are crucial all year round for me. Layering is the way to go. This one looks super light and super soft. The colour is so pretty too! I find New Look's knitwear surprisingly good quality so I definately hope I can get my hands on one of these.

6. Midi dresses are a trend I never thought I'd be able to try but after a trying a few I've really grown to look them. There's something about the midi length that makes any outfit instantly cooler. I'm seeing this with a leather jacket and boots for drinks with friends.

7. I've never been a fan of delicate looking shoes but recently I've been loving strappy shoes with rolled up jeans and a boyfriend blazer. The juxtaposition of dainty verses boyish is a match made in heaven. My inner Carrie Bradshaw is making a bid for freedom right now.

8. Last but not least is this pretty little drop waisted dress. This mulberry shade is such a pretty colour and the shape of this dress is so simple but can look so lovely. This can be prettified or rocked up. These types of versatile, easy dresses are my favourite at the moment.

Do you like to shop at New Look? What are you eyeing up right now?
