Tea Tree Mask - £10 The Body Shop

If you follow me on twitter (@alliejayne if you don't and want too!) then you may have noticed that I was complaining about a particularly bad break out I was suffering with. I've basically had to scrap my whole regime and start again because nothing was working and this mask is one of my new additions to my skincare routine.
I was walking past The Body Shop and it occurred to me that I hadn't been in for ages so I popped in for a little nose. I headed straight over to the tea tree section because tea tree is supposed to be so good for blemished skin and while I haven't actually come across any reviews of this mask before I have heard good things about other products from the range. After a quick chat with the lovely sales assistant I decided to go with this.
The Body Shop say 'this instantly cooling face mask cleanses, soothes and refreshes skin'. It also apparently absorbs any excess oil from the skin and help with the removal of blemishes. It is also recommended that you use this only once a week so for the time being that is what I've been doing.
I tend to have a pamper night on a Sunday evening so I first remove all my make up, cleanse my skin as I would normally and then pop this mask on and wait for 15-20 minutes. I apply the mask with an old foundation brush which I think works really well. You don't need to apply a really thick layer of this because I think it's quite powerful. As soon as the mask is applied to the skin you feel the cooling effects instantly and the sensation is quite tingly. It's not uncomfortable at all and I actually find it really relaxing. The scent of this product is fairly strong and menthol but I actually quite like that about it, it makes me feel like it's really going to do my oily skin some good.
This isn't a clay mask so it doesn't set on the face making it easy to remove. I tend to use a muslin cloth so that my skin gets exfoliated as the mask comes off. Underneath my skin feels so soft and clean and also quite decongested. After I just follow on with my usual night time regime.
Over the time I've been using this I think my skin has definately become less oily and the overall texture of my skin seems better. I feel like my skin is brighter and my pores are smaller and less defined. You get a lot of product for your money and I can see this 100ml pot lasting me for around 2 months. I really like this mask and I can see myself repurchasing this when I run out. I'm also inspired to check out the rest of this range and see what other gems I can find!
Have you tried this range before? What do you think?
